"HURICANE" are servo-motor positional vice and tong feeders for profile bars, with independent measurement from magnetic tape, they can be connected to :
- single-blade saws for cutting according to the cutting plan
- drilling machines for drilling on profile bars according to the position plan
- flowdrill machine for punching holes and rolling threads
- a press for pressing holes according to the position plan
- copy milling machines for positional milling of macros according to the position plan

- marking machines and other multi-purpose devices
- cutting centers with profile magazine
- machining centers with profile magazine
- and as part of production lines designed for processing profile bars.
The HURICANE servo-motor vice feeder is designed like a Lego building kit with configurable equipment according to the customer's specific needs.
Description of the basic model:
- Automatic positioning in length according to the input. (So far implemented L= 0 – 12,500 mm max. with an accuracy of ± 0.03mm absolute.)
- Accuracy of position sensing from magnetic tape class 4p/0.01mm.
- Torque transmission to the toothed rack is via Helical planetary gearboxes, accuracy class ≤3arc/min
- The range and specifics of clamping of the vice jaws are adapted to the dimensional requirements of the assignment
- Specially designed double-sided pneumatic vice / can pull or push.
- If necessary, a 3-axis clamp is used to clamp the internal compartments
- Automatically gradually folding zero edge - as a longitudinal material stop
- Floating jaws with adjustable spring force to compensate for unevenness of the profile bar
- Adjustable pinion pressure force to eliminate clearance in the gearing and also as a mechanical safety device in case of overload.
- Vise jaws fitted with replaceable adhesive inserts for different types of materials
Software for receiving position plans :
In combination as a bar feeder for single-purpose devices:
- "HURICANE" is equipped with a 7" touch screen and PLC control, which is connected to the control of the single-purpose device.
- Positional program, specifically display screens are programmed according to the requirements of the assignment:
- in CSV data set format
- transfer to the machine on a USB drive
- possibility of direct writing of data set on the touch display
- displayed instruction data for the operator; (e.g. profile number, length measurement, trolley number for placing the finished piece, compartment number in the trolley for pairing pieces for assembly; ....
Position points can be entered :
- Absolute input of position values
- Relative value entry
- Easy assignment of number of repetitions
- Combination of absolute and relative position notation
- Manual mode for easy entry of position on the touch display
In combination as a bar feeder for cutting and machining centers or by integration into a production line:
- The "HURICANE" feeder is equipped with an automatic profile bar transfer device.
- The "HURICANE" feeder program is in this case directly integrated into the control of the cutting center; machining center; or production line.
